How do you intend to use the four areas of the media theoretical framework to communicate meaning and meet the requirements of your chosen brief? (approx. 400 words)

Product 1 -
For the front cover and contents pages, i will use media language to create a modernised brand identity that will represent multiculturalism and individuality to appeal to a demographics of 15-25 year old young people but mainly females, the 16-25 year olds with a A,B social grading. This meets the requirments of Bauer Media a potentially publisher for the magazine, who has millions of yearly sales. In addition, potential places that could distribute the magazine is local stores and groceries stores. I will stay relevant with Bauer Media by using eye catching and a luxurious looking font (Geogia) for the masthead “SPACE” magazine in both. The word ‘SPACE’ meaning, can be represented in the magazine, my contents page and front cover is very spacious, but in the front cover i will have text including the models name, tagline,price (£2.99) and information related to the models whilst making it looks luxurious. I will also appeal to my target audience audience by using medium shots on the front cover so the image can stand out and the colour theme i will use will depend on the models clothing. I will have the same font which is century gothic (in photoshop and font size (which varies in masthead etc) throughout the magazine to connote consistency. For my contents page the first one will be one page and second across a double paged spread to show variety.
Product 2-
For the working website magazine, i will be sure to follow the required media language codes and appropriate conventions of a website. These include the original ‘SPACE’ logo that i consistently used throughout my magazine, to create familiarity to my audience for them to instantly recognise the layout and design. I will also include a navigation bar (Located the top of the website, underneath the logo) that will have; ‘News’, ‘Fashion’, ‘Beauty’, ‘New Season’, ‘About Us’, ‘Video’, ‘More’. The use of social media links that is integrated into the website gives opportunity to for feedback from the target audience and also gives them opportunity to socialise and create a mini community and producing interactivity. I will also have a subscribe feature with a mini banner (located underneath the navigation bar) which will be in font 19 font to be eye catching as it would be expected for Bauer Media as it gives my audience opportunity to subscribe for monthly print magazines and this will increase and boost profits. My websites will include the latest fashions news with articles to keep my audience up to date and also it give my audience inside information about upcoming projects and future magazines. Visually my website will have a pink background that will be in coordination with the theme of my latest magazine front cover. There will also be a section talking about the origins of SPACE.
How do you intend to link your media products to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the digitally convergent nature of your media production? (approx. 100 words)
My media product throughout the magazine and website will include consistent logo ,brand images, font, style and design which will show that it is intended to be for the same audience. This might comfort my readers and they will gain acknowledgement of the principles of my magazine. I will also include some male models in my website, so it will expand readership and the fanbase. I also plan to use similar layout the arguably the largest and most luxurious fashion magazine vogue as the magazine was vogue inspired. Furthermore, the range of diverse models that will be in SPACE will be there long term and consistently and they will have a positive influence on the brand and will increase familiarity.
